Round Up for 2020/21
This year saw our Sheepy flock compete in a very different way, this being said the children loved the challenges they were given and looked forward to participating in the next challenge.
The whole school put all of their effort into their PE lessons, making them fun, enjoyable and educational. This year we focussed on how to look after not only our physical selves but also our mental state of minds, this is something we will be continuing to develop next year.
We were able to participate in a Sports Day this year, which was great! The whole school were able to cheer on their houses, it was quite an emotional event! Congratulations to Air house who were the overall winners.
1st - Air - 39 points
2nd - Fire - 37 points
Joint 3rd - Earth and Water - 34 points
Super Swimmers at Sheepy
Our Year 6 children have all achieved their 25 metre swimming awards. They leave us in a fantastic position to continue their swimming achievements at secondary school and beyond. Congratulations to you all.
After School PE Clubs
Currently we are running a football club for KS1 and KS2 children.
KS1 club will be on a Monday and Wednesday.
KS2 club will be on a Tuesday and Thursday.
We are keen to set up other clubs such as Hockey and Netball. Due to space we will have to wait for restrictions to ease before we can continue with these.
We are also looking at introducing Skipping and Dance clubs. More information will be posted when it is available.
